Gelled Fuel Additive

Gelled Fuel Additive
Has anyone every had fuel additives gel in the bottle? I carry a 32 oz. bottle of Stanadyne PF in the truck at all times to add when refueling. I was near empty yest. and went to fuel up. I got the bottle out of my tool box and it was gelled like a canned ham. We have had sub- zero cold for a week with occasional forays into the twenties. It was about 18 deg. F when this happened. I have never had any fuel gelling issues yet, but this is worrisome. Is it usable in this condition?. I'm sure the Stanadyne winter formula probably would be beteter under these conditions, but the PF is listed as "all season".

Congrats:
You're the 1st one to post this question this winter season.
It comes up every year, like the "Volt meter waving up and down on cold starts" threads.
Stanadyne PF does thicken up in its container at cold temps.
It is also one of the lowest(best) pour point modifier additives on the market.
I think it's the lubricity additives thickening.
It does its job of anti-gelling when mixed with the diesel fuel.
I use S.P.F. in EVERY tankfull year-round.

I've used most of the popular diesel additives, Stanadyne is the only one that has gelled up in the container on me.
That's why I don't use it, heck if I'm going to bring that stinky stuff inside to keep it warm.
