Lately around here we thought it would already be over $3/gal when they jumped the price at the begining of the month. But now the price is 10cents cheaper than gas at $2.69 diesel and $2.79 for gas. Hopefully it will stay under gas.

How can GE or anyone else own the rights to coal liquefaction technology? The process was developed by the Germans during WWII and then used by South Africa during the trade embargos of the apartheid years.
Rather than wasting billions in Iraq and the Middle East in general, we should be investing in making ourselves energy self sufficient.

$3.17/Gal up here for Diesel and still cheaper than $3.41 for Gas. Generally Diesel is cheaper than gas around here except for the odd time in the winter when demand for heating oil is up I think we have a different road tax structure than down south?
