fuel additives
i have been reading from other member's posts about the importance of either a fuel additive, or adding one quart of two cycle oil per tank. could you switch back and forth at each fill up without causing any damage?

oil is oil
Switching from 2 stroke oil in the fuel to another addative shouldn't be a problem. Most all oils (additives) mix very well together (PS and MMO as example). Also, the small quantity in the fuel is very diluted. Who knows, you may come up with a combo that really works and gives you 30MPG increase

I dont understand, why would you add 2 cycle oil when there are companies that have spent big bucks developing additives that are specifically designed for use in diesel trucks ?

goes along with the old saying to add ATF to your tanks to lubricate and clean your injectors, why do that when you know stanadyne and other additives have been designed just for that specific purpose?
