I believe that Bearkiller found that a spade type drill bit worked well. You can also get a wrench on the shank for a bit of leverage.

only if you lay down under the truck and are looking up at it
Another trick to try before buggering it up to badly is getting two nuts that will thread onto it.. use one as a lock nut against the other and turn it using the second one.. I did this a long long time ago on my first 91 to tighten the stud, mine kept spinning off with the filter!, but I dont recall at all what the size/pitch were...

i tried getting my seal from the dodge dealer before i took my fuel heater off and turns out they gave me some random other seal which there was no way it was gonna work so i just took the fuel heater off and took the old seal and put oil on it and put it all back together and it stopped my leak

I got mine at the local Dodge dealer parts department. $2.50 out the door.
I used a 3" long piece of 1" flat steel, ground the end down like a screwdriver and bent it about 9" from the other end as a handle to get the bung loose. Worked like a champ on a 4x4, not sure on a 2wd, though.
