1997 Ford conversion questions.

I know very little about fords... A friend of mine has a 1997 ford F-250 4x4. its an extended cab 8ft bed with a 5 speed manual and a 351 gasser. Can he use the ford trans? how about flywheel, clutch, and driveshafts. I heard somewhere that the ford trans will bolt up but i am not sure. he would be using one of my 1992 6bt motors. Thanks

The other thing to worry about is the twin traction beam...

With an adaptor it might. You can find adaptors for ford trannies to cummins.
