Went to the track lastnight...got a few questions
I raced my truck lastnight in 2wd only and here is the best slip.
60' 2.363
330' 6.278
1/8 9.474
mph 76.80
1000' 12.275
1/4 14.65
mph 94.61
Ok, well a lock up switch made no difference with my DTT transmission. It locks when I hit 2nd gear anyway. My main question is if you launch in 4wd do you keep it in 4wd or try and shift into 2wd?
I was launching with zero boost because even with 37's it destroyed my tires.
I had fun, but I wouldn't mind getting into the 13's without blowing my drivetrain apart. Just looking for comments and a bit of guidance.
Thank you,
Paul

Well I launch in 4wd around 12-15psi boost. I leave it in 4wd until I slow down after the 1/4, then shift to 2wd before I turn off. I use my lockup switch as soon as it shifts to 2nd and I stay locked through OD.
4wd launches should keep from smoking the tires like in 2wd, I cannot launch with any real boost in 2wd either.
It should improve your 60' times considerably and therefore your 1/4 ETs also. I would think you could do 2.0 at least and probably better 60's with your mods.
