Three Piece Stainless Steel Header Pics!

I just received my new stainless header from OverKill Parts Co.
Friday (WOW)
If you have been watching they are for sale on DTR's online store and there are several threads talking about them. I have purchased one for my 12v and it looks super, lots better than the rusty cast piece!
Here are more pictures so you can see in more detail how finely crafted they really are. Definitely engineered to last not just a speed part that only lasts 6 months (or less).
Sorry about being long winded just excited to finally see a real answer to the header/manifold issues, we can spend thousands on twin kits but no one has really improved this area of the aspiration system.

awesome looking part, quality of material and welds is sweet!

needs some slight work on the turbo flange, that oval opening crashing into a squared off T3 turbo flange is not good for flow. if the maker addresses that issue that thing would ROCK! not knocking it, just a friendly suggestion to help with make a good thing better.

I ruined a turbo housing by having a spacer that did not have the "web" in it. It actually eroded the housing down, as if it got sandblasted....

What's the advatage of this header other than looking fantastic? Does it have larger tubes than stock? Does it flow alot more? If it is all of the above plus sum maybe $850.00 to a grand is hmmm ok. But if it is just "bling bling" then that is pricey.

I might make a spacer with a web in it and do some testing to see which way is better. Or just grind out the turbo housing to match the header and thin the web to minimize turbulence.

Take a look at the dyno results in the forum posts, there are a lot of performance advantages to this header as well as great looks.

The stainless steel flows better, and it retains the heat from the exhaust, so it is more efficient. It may also have something to do with expansion, but I'm not sure on that.
