IMO, the work stock weight break should reflect the vast majority of trucks it's supposed to represent. Most of them are loaded down with enough stuff to exceed an 8500# limit.... ideally, you could unhook the trailer full of cattle, hay or tractors and back up to the sled.

Yes.. next time watch the scales.. I bet 90-95% of the trucks are under 8500lbs..

I sure would like to see some sort of event (class?) for the heavier trucks. If you create sumtin for the heavier guys it will slowly attract some of the welders and other folks,....350's 450's 550's 3500, 4500, 5500's. It's just a matter of time before the 45/5500 dodges start showing up at these pulls.

If you roll over the scales @ 10,000+,....You Go Here--------->

The night the sled broke at Deleon I had my truck striped, steel toe boots, pager, and cell phone hanging on the fence to make the 10,500 wt. limit.

If no class is available, then I'd still like to come watch and pull it for fun.

Just my 2 cents

The HWH sled has their schdule up dated for the Anitque Tractors... http://hwhpulling.tripod.com/pull_dates.html but before you go to a pull we (you) need to check to see if they are pulling trucks.. some of the events are inside.. and they can not pull Diesel..

Bryan, not sure on the schedule, and don't know about payouts. But I do know we are lookin for sponsors and vendors. I believe payouts depend on participants, so I hope we have a few. oh yeah Bryan I think Bobby ment to put the 2.8 class as super street...call Bobby Ezell for info 817-528-2166
And I can try to help with questions also..thanks..Buck..

I don't know the times.. but the Antique Tractors will be pulling earlier in the day.. they usually have some exibition tractors... And they will let about anyone pull as long as the tractor is safe. The Antique Tractors follow the NATPA rules. (NATPA.com)
Trucks are following something close to the DHRA rules from last year.. They are posted with some of the events.
