Wow, 35 bucks huh. Must not be that good of a dyno. Those things arent cheap! I think the SuperFlow is around a $80,000.00 dollar machine. If I had that one, I wouldnt be selling pulls for less than $100.00 for 3 pulls,,,,,,,,,,,, If I had one!

I have played around on some big dynos, some small ones too. The little dynos are not that accurate and do corrections that well, or at all for that matter. The big ones, like the SuperFlow 849, does sea level corrections, will give you SAE, STP and Dyno Jet numbers that are corrected for temp and humidity. The difference between the SAE and Dyno Jet numbers can just about be used to get the power at the crank, real close. The big name racers tune on them, the big pullers run them. Its a dual eddy current dyno that can hold back as much as 1400 HP and torque measureing is traction limited. The 849 can load duallys without wheel take offs, load alcohol cars with narrow rears. I just wish I had the money for one, its the cats meow!

$65.00 on that machine to find out the REAL numbers my truck gets on the ground is a BARGIN!

I have been on the one in Lewisville, I wont be on it again.

i have been on mustang dyno, for 40 bucks. and it gave the most messed up dyno run i have ever had. it could be set up with and with out a load. the dyno jet i ran on last week or so could put up to a 20% load if i remember right. it was 40 bucks for 3 runs. and i find that these dyno jet #s seem to be quite accurate accross the board. i find it funny david can haul his dyno all over and his truck pretty much puts down the same #s even at sea level or in the smokies.

Haul his dyno all over. Is it a portable?

The SuperFlow 849 isnt portable. Its HUGE. The Dyno assembley itself weighs in at 13,000 lbs.

Dynojet has a good program, SuperFlow intergrates part of it into their program as a measuring compairison along with SAE and STP standards. And your right. If it works right and the compensating software works as it should and its calibrated correctly, it should keep the same numbers for the same truck anywhere its run.

The SuperFlow can load up to 100% of 1400 HP. If you can make 1400 HP at 2800 per say, it can hold you at 2800 no matter how hard you mat it.

This is the same machine that Hendrick Motor Sports and Rousch Racing uses to tune their Nextell Nascar cars. This one isnt a toy.
