Smoked a Duramax today...
Pulled up to a light, and this older dude in his 50's asks if I want to run 'em...
Is that good for what I have listed?
I NEVER race.

That 6" tip was the difference! Without know what he had (Other then a Duramax!) there is no way anyone can say it was a good kill or not. I mean, was he running a 6 speed hand shaker, how bout dual wheels out back? Was he stock, running loaded? Was he just playin', or did he try?
With that said, as long as you had fun, and no one was hurt, then I guess it could be considered a good kill!

more than likely stock...
Thing is, don't you guys push like 350/650?
I know I have nowhere near that HP, maybe 280 from the plate?
And I don't have any torque figures... 600?
But I've driven a dmax and they are fast - for a truck
I dropped $600 into a 97 Cummins and made it perform better than that $35k+ Dmax...
Plus I have a solid front axle and 6" tip so I win by default.

Depending on the year on the HP numbers. Only the 06 and newer ones have the 360 hp, the 01 through early 04 had just 300 hp. then it was upped to about 305 for a year and a half before jumping to 360, then 365 this year.
You you out ran an 06 or 07 with the 360-365 hp, you have a pretty quick truck, because those trucks run anywhere from mid 15's to as low as high 14's completely stock.
