You can get amazing amounts of power out of a semi engine. The only problem is there are fewer people that do that kind of work so the prices are ALOT higher than modding a smaller 5.9L engine. There are few things better than a 3406B Cat turning ~5k RPM.

In stock form the DT466 is a gutless wonder. But like anything else if you throw enough money at it they run pretty good.
