You dont really need a p-pump... I'm running an A-pump on my 210 allis pulling tractor thats pushing 560 cubes... It dosent even start to clear the smoke till mid track and thats with a 3x4 charger.... maybe you outa just check out your a-pump and see what its actually flowing?

P-pumps also came on the C-series cummins, as well as 466 internationals. Pump spins clockwise looking from the shaft to the governor housing, and direction is important. Plungers ramp up quickly, dwell at the TDC for quite a while then come back down slower.

I've done quite a bit of work to the old moline last year and got the p-pump on as well as hx-40 turbo. Now making 350+ hp. Am wondering if anyone knows rpms the engine can be pushed to. Am currently making about 25psi boost. Thanks for the help

What kind of RPM are you turning now? Do anything special with your cam?
For an apples to oranges comparison my buddy has a John Deere 4440, 466 cubic inch, stock head, cam etc... Running probably a 350-400 cc A-pump, big injectors and a HX-52 turbo. Pulling 7th out of 8 gears with over 50 psi of boost at no more than 3k rpms.
