about 140 mph in a volkswagen rabbit with a 16v motor in it a few times.Thats scary considering it was less than 2000 lbs and had the aerodynamics of a fat guy in a windstorm

120 in my 97 when i let out.... way too high egt's

 

I too have had my 03 up against the limiter... people can't believe a diesel can go that fast. I still wouldn't want to take one out on the autoban or anything though.

But I figured some of my fellow "testing it out" people would want to know the shocking fact that the 2007 Ford Crown Victoria Police "Interceptors" are barely faster at top speed than our trucks. The models with the limited slip rear ends are limited to 119mph due to drive shaft harmonics and the non limited slip is just a few Mph faster but still limited.

I ended up finding this 119mph limit out a few days ago on the interstate going to a man with a gun call on the other side of town .... In defense of the car though, it did handle very well and was quite comfortable at speed.
