Lets see, 112 MPH in the '96 CTD, corrected for tire size. 155 MPH on a 750 Honda Magna and 180 in my brothers 425 horse 2.72 geared 1978 Dodge Aspen with a rockin' 383 wedge (the front end settled down around 125 or so). The last two were young and dumb times!

Well........did it have more??

I've been to 115mph in the 95, the 98 won't do more than 100mph right now, 118mp (GPS) in the Chevelle...know all about the floating front end deal... and I've had my 93 S10 2.8L up to 110mph The S10 took 4 miles to go from 100 to 110

I'm still young and dumb, so I'm sure I'll find something to go faster in

My stock tires were 265's so yeah 29.5's, and my new tires are 35's...yeah it was scary for sure!

127mph on my 4.5" lifted 03HO rollin on 35" Toyo MT's.

It was done as a test to see if pulling the 2 ABS fuses would overide the top speed limiter at 109mph.

Well it does. Speeds were recorded using a GPS and was in 6th gear well into the redline at 3450rpm. I think I have the power now to pull 3500rpm. Tests were done on my 03 qc sb 4x4 w/ 3.73 and 35" and only a Smarty programer.

I know I can squeeze 130 out of it given a safer road.

P.S Key on trick does also work for elimating the top speed. No need to spend your hard earned $$$ on the BD box

Key on trick, isnt that holding the key to the start position to over ride the speed limiter, any negative effects of this?

I can't think of any negative affects which is why I do it on occasion. Only problem is that it kills the gauges. I've hd my 03 up to 115 on the speedo whch is 3500 rpm. I had my dads 02 up to 120 with some downhill.
