Most likely the one Bobby/5E always gets for the ODRA pulls!

Sounds like many of the SE/Midwest boys will be coming down to this one! Someone new to compete against - show them what TX has in diesel!

I don't know which one that was. Was it an Ironman? The HWH?

I have hooked to both the ironman comes out of the hole easier and generally pulls easier but IMO stops harder...the hwh has a steady pull the entire time...In my experience ya got to hwh going as fas as ya can at the begining....my thoughts anyways...works for me usually

I'll have to look closer.. but if you watch the ironman type sleds.. watch the back of the pan.. it stays up.. or has less pressure on it.. untill the box hits the top.. or close to it.. then it pushes down on the back of the pan.. trying to lift the back of the sled.. (pushing all the force into the grounds.) the older type sleds... like the HWH.. don't force down on the back of the pan.. (or they don't always use it.) the pan is light at the beginning because the weight mostly over center of the rear axles..
When the pan drops on the iron sleds.. that's when things stops.. (that's when parts fly... haha.)

Buck said it best... you got to get going fast while its light on the pan... and hope you got enough to carry you the furthest...

I haven't seen the event listed on HWH's site...

I'm sure they will be posted here..... http://www.outlawdra.com/

Event was huge! Well done Micah and ODRA.
I counted 250 trucks (in back) at 6 pm, and front parking lot was filling fast. Over 60 Dynoed. Had to leave early but I suspect they went well past midnight!
FYI - Diamond W Arena has installed an electronic message board out by the road to anounce events 24/7. Seems to have spread the word and pulled in a lot of entrants and spectators.
