Nor-Cal Diesel Rally June 20,21
If anyone is interested there is a pull/drag race/dyno event this coming weekend in Redding, CA. It starts on friday night with the dyno. Then saturday is everything else and more dyno. From what I've seen on other sites it should be a pretty big event. A real good buddy of mine is hoping for 1000rwhp on fuel only out of his 04. Here is some info on it.

I have to work on friday, but I hoping for an early out, like noon. My buddy is leaving real early on friday morning so he makes sure he gets a spot in the tough truck competition.

Its a blue quad cab long bed with silver on the bottom and a BIG Industrial Injection sticker on the back window. Its lifted 6" and rolls 37s usually, but he'll have my old 33s for the competition. Its got a single 6" mitre cut stack in the bed. He also has only one hand, he lost his right in Iraq about a year ago. He also has a service dog thats with him all the time, a golden retriever. Also his truck smokes alot even just sitting at idle. Its pretty hard to miss. Mines a white 05 quad cab on 35s with a cummins stripe on the bed.

It was a good event. Chris Werner put down 1142hp in his 12v on the dyno with Nitrous. Nick D'Amico and his duramax won the tough truck again this year with 859hp on spray on the dyno, a 12.1sec 1/4 and a sled pull of 284'(?) I think. Robert Evans,(a real good friend of mine) took 2nd overall in his 04 CR QC LB with 840.2hp on the dyno FUEL ONLY, had a 12.25 1/4, and a 276' sled pull. It was Rob's first hook ever, and first time ever on the dyno. It was also his first track run with the new electronics and turbos. He did very well with out any experience or spray. Lookin forward to next year.
