Now, to get rid of the stupid speed limiter. I'm sure you all see my trap speeds all the same. The speed limiter kicked in with about 150ft left of track. So that little device alone cost me prob. 2-3mph and at least a .05-.10 of time. Cause it accelerates hard rite to the shut-off then kinda coasts through at 109mph, and you feel the g-forces diminish rapidly as soon as it kicks in.
I thought you could get a RAD(Race anti-defueler) for the 03's.

But good times anyways.

Yeh, they have one, but after chating with Diablo Sport on the the phone today, I'm hoping that I won't have to get one. They're advertised raised speed limiter is non existant on mine.

Yes I am, and it was less than a day installed when I ran those times at the track!!! Only thing left out was billet intermediate and output shafts. He said he never seen either fail on a 2wd in any application. Got the billet direct drum, input, flex plate, and 3disc conv.

What were you running before the built Goerend? Not a stock tranny, surely?

Same exact fueling boxes, with stock tranny+Shift Kit+Perf. Single Disc tq Conv. from Tony Dunrite. That combo gave me a best of 12.97@106.4mph. Main thing Daves' tranny has done is allowed me to do lock to lock shifts.

streetsmoker have you tried turning the key to start at the end of your run? It kills the stock speedo and sadly your juice ( I think) but you can go over 109 like that. My truck is weird, a few times it has kept right on fueling with the diablo all the way to 3500 rpms in sixth which puts me at 115. Just wondering if you have tried it.

No. I think you can splice in a toggle switch in one of the VSS wires under-hood, for temporary track only speedo/odo kill. I have a thread to find that exact thing out.

so what were your 60' and 1/8 miles times to your 12.66 pass

i know of a two wheel drive duramax that does about the same ET you do, and does 12.0 with nitrous, his 60' are around the 1.8...., he runs slicks

anyways that is some strong times with a 2wd, keep it up

My 60ft. times are nowhere nere what they can be with slicks. On the 12.66 and 12.67 runs I pulled, 60 times were 2.017 on the 12.67 and 2.015 on the 12.66 pass. With slicks and the bottle, I'm easily in the 11's.

I have no where near as much power and I dont think I can launch to get near those times. How are you launching?
