lifts and stacks

i know that alot of you guys on this site either comp. pull or farm an pull gooseneck trailers with heavy loads, an i see alot with stacks. what i would like to know is does 4in of lift affect the pulling of trailers an does the stacks improve towing and pulling power or just sound good and look good. i have a 1990 cummins 250 reg. cab that i was thinking about putting both on it but i wanted to ask about them first

Depending on how much you want to tow, the lift will have some effect. If towing moderate to heavy i wouldnt lift it, unless you used an air bag suspension. As for the stack they are for looks and sound, they dont offer any more performance than any other aftermarket exhaust system.
