not real sure but some of the towns close to the track, are Plainfield, Avon, Brownsburg. I'm only 20-30 min away so not sure about the hotels or the hot spots.

There was one hotel that sat on the corner of whatever road you turn down to get to the track. Not 5 minutes to the show. All i saw everytime i drove by was hillbillys with beer blowing black smoke....thats where i want to be.

The 'after-hours' events take place right off of I-70 in Plainfield. There is a bundle of hotels that most folks stay at 267(Quaker Road) and I-70. This is where the infamous videos are usually shot and where the warehouse incident took place last year... from there it's a decent haul to get to the track but it's worth it if you're wanting to witness the shenanigans that take place...

Does anyone know any of the hotels names close to where the after hours stuff is going on? Also, how far is it from the event?

Hampton Inn, Days Inn, Comfort Inn, Motel 6 and Homewood Suites are in a cluster... typically, there is an impromptu burnout contest going on at the Days Inn...

Across the way, there is a Lees' Inn and Suites, Super 8 and Ramada Inn... and there are some other joints nearby as well.

A fair warning... these hotels are probably booked up pretty good...

area hotels

The warehouse is only a short drive away(few blocks at most)... I was a bit lit at the time(not driving) and wasn't paying attention to which warehouse we actually went too... couldn't miss it the next morning due to the new paving job that was done overnight...

The track is 12 or so miles away from this group of hotels... it's hard to get lost, just follow the trail of soot...

Yeah the Days Inn, Amerihost, and another one are in a triangle cluster, thats where all the actions at, almost better than the event its self, but im sure their all booked. IRP is about 10 min away and the industrial park is about a mile down the road.

I stayed in Plainfield last year and again this year I think is where our Hotel is. I missed the warehouse incident but heard about it the next day. I am bringing a few more daring friends this year and want to make it there. I'd like to catch up with a few of you guys and make a run there to watch.
