You shouldn't break anything in the tranny with contant loads like sled pulls.....but if you ever try drag racing.....I can pretty much guarantee your gonna rip 4th gear out of it.....ive lost 3 G-56's in the last 3 months trying too race.

 

im less woried about breaking and more worried about being competitive with some of the rules, the last 2 pulls i been to there were well over 100 trucks and can only think of 3 that broke and 2 of them were gassers.

Al, I seen the vid of the pulls at Idaho Falls, ID 6-21-07, your truck was there right? What happend? I see what you mean, thats a mean group of trucks to pull against.

 

Joe, i was pretty disapointed Sat but i found the issue that has been huanting me Sun and im 99% sure its back to 100%. pulling is fun. next DHRA pull near me is Idaho Falls again July 12th.

 

G56 with well north of 800hp hooked to a sled......hummmmmm

 

its alot of fun you should try it with something. you have tons of power you may borrow a strong built pulling hitch and some blocks. if you dont have really aggressive mud tires I bet you wont break anything. just dont hit the brakes lol
