Friday Sep. 1st Tampico, Indiana 8000 Diesel Class "Run Whatcha Brung'!
Grassy Fork VFD will be having their annual Fall Pull on Friday September 1, 2006. There will be a horse pull first (i think 6pm??) and then a class of farm tractors followed by 8000lb Diesel Trucks (run what ya brung) and then another farm class. I think the diesel trucks pay $100 to win and then 4 or 5 places

Guys if you can make it to one pull before the year is up this is going to be it.
Anything goes....

As of right now the pits are in good shape. It hasn't rained here for a couple days. The weather hasn't dried up the weekends rain as well as we had hoped, but we should be ok as long as we don't get pounded tonight or tomorrow. We do have a couple gravel lots within a half mile of the track if we get get hammered with rain. Worst case scenario we would park haulers there and drive vehicles in since almost all trucks and tractors will be "roadable" for less than a mile. I'm pretty confident it won't come to that, but like i said thats worst case scenario. I will try to keep you guys informed if something changes.
Unless the hurricane stalls out over Tampico we will be pulling! If you are in doubt you can call me @ the office 812-523-6908 to confirm weather. If no answer there call my cell @ 812-569-1761. Bring all the smokers you can find!!
I am leaving kokomo at 2pm my # is 765-419-7012 call me if something changes
