Hey guys I have been looking around for a first chance to hook to a sled. I would like to find a small pull somewhere close so that I don't make a fool out of myself in front of too many people. The only pulls that I have found advertised around the Dayton Ohio area require a vertical exhaust, an intake kill switch, etc. I have pretty much a stock truck with an exhaust and a SMARTY. Does anybody know of any pulls around that wouldn't require me to cut a hole through the center of my bed and add a bunch of safety devices? I 've seen the air kill switches on pulling tractors, do I have to have this on my strret truck to hook to a sled? Are there any other requirements I have to meet just to try this sport out?

I'm pretty sure a lot of the stock classes around here don't require all of that stuff. If they do require a vertical exhaust you can just bolt a piece to the end of your stock that has a piece turned up. I've seen lots of people do that. Check Butler County, Warren County, Preble County, and Montgomery County fairs. Those are the ones I usually go to because they are kinda close. There are a few others that go to, but I usually don't here about those until they get close.
Good luck
