"dperf" hits 777 HP with his 06' CR

Today at "Waynes Dyno and Performance" in Jacksonville, N.C., DTR Member "dperf" (Bobby Downes), ran his 2006 Dodge CTD CR, 4X4, Auto on Wayne Murphy's "Dynojet 248C" and hit 777 H.P./1299 Torque (uncorrected).

My sincere congratulations to my friend Bobby who has been working hard to get his truck up to this level. Bobby did alot of the work himself, but also had some help from Tim Barber (Timinva) @ "TRE Diesel Performance" who helped supply and install some of the performance parts he used. Needless to say, the thing runs great!

I will let Bobby get on here to give you guys more details but listed below is the weather information during the run:

Elevation: 25 ft.
Temperature: 70 degrees
Humidity: 40 %
Barometer: 30.3

Again, my congratulations to Bobby.

I am not much for words on the whole posting thing, but I would like to thank all that have helped me finally get some good power out of my truck. First and foremost I have to say thanks to John_P for all the help he has given me. With my busy work schedule, John is quick to offer a hand no matter what. Also a big thanks goes out Timinva. He helped with the cam, springs, injectors, dual cp3's ect... Also thanks to the rest of the NC crew for any and all support.
As for the mods: Twin turbos(II 62/14, Scheid S-400), PPE twin cp3, F1 cam, springs and flux 3+'s, Arp studs, TST r49, BDDL/Smarty, ATS tranny, 5" exhaust.

These runs were #2 only. No other additives... including water.

Only 777 with twin pumps? Seems like there should be more. What electronics were used? What topped out? Temp, rail pressure, air?

Either way...totally amazing numbers. I just "would" think there is more there... especially at "sea-level".

Run it again!

Great job....

Those were quick results with only 2 dyno runs. Still lots more to be had I'm sure. More tuning (and maybe more injector?) would only see that number grow. Not to speak for Bobby, but I think he is somewhat hesitant to push super hard to stay away from possible reliability issues (e.g. head gasket(s), etc.)
