Okay gang, here is the deal. IHRA is doing their Thunder Jam series again this year. It is a huge show with jet cars, Wheel standers, and all manner of cool 1/4 mile rides. Last year in Alabama The venue was too small to hold the 12000+ FANS that showed up, so this year, they moved the event to Alabama International Dragway at Steele. To make a long story short, there will be an 8 truck invitation-only Pro street race, Darren Morrison will be out making laps in his Pro-Stock S-10 and Dan Schied and crew will be out to top their existing track record set last may in Steele. This should be a pretty good deal for Diesel motor sports in general. We will have the fastest street trucks in the country and the fastest rail on the planet making laps for an enormous crowd. We have commitments from the following teams for the 8 truck invitation only Pro-Street field:

Stuckey Racing
Jeff Garmon
Phil Taylor
TS Performance
Micky Davis
Seth Sullivan
Rich Buckley
Meacham Evans

Also Bo Layne in the Schied dragster along with Darren Morrison in his Pro-Stock S-10.


It will be cool to bring the excitement that we have all come to know and love to a whole new group of people!
