Diesel Nationals at Indy?

What was up with the Nationals this year? There were very few vendors, and only about half the people of last year. Is this all fuel cost related or was something else going on? I noticed the Scheid modified truck was MIA as was Brad Ingram's truck. Any body know what was going on?

Yeah 16 trucks in the street. I hate to say it but the pull was very disappointing.
Not many in the work stock, but the modified class had the full compliment however the track made it hard for them to pull.

Ratical Ram owned the class.

fuel cost may have played a part but, I think DHRA did one too many people wrong.

If you look at the earlier pulls such as TS and some of the KY hooks ,I would say what they did to many people was wrong more so than the fuel prices.

It was just down right bad. I am not going to go to INDY again. I did have fun meeting everyone. I am glad I could help a few of you out and SORRY Coal Train that I didn't have anything to help you. You did have a nice crew with you.

Its alright Ryan no big deal, we tried and tried to tighten that fitting. I was going to try and pull on Sunday because there wasn't that many trucks in the superstreet class but I thought I needed to ask the DHRA guys since I didn't get to run. And they told me if I got into the money it would probably make some people upset. I'm going to work on it tomorrow. It was just a bad weekend.

Everyone on DP says Duramax dominated each class. Pretty soon they'll start their 'all hail duramax domination' chant again.

I need to get my truck set up to start smokin Isuzu's again!

I was disapointed and I took my fiance with me and it was fun with her. I can't make it for next year and I already know that but after this year I wouldn't make it any ways. If DHRA didn't kill it the cops did!
