The clock said 10.41.....did it actually run a 10.41? I'm not certain since others have cast some doubt on that. The MPH is certainly slow but the truck did look like it had an awesome 60' and 1/8 mile time.

You would need to cut a 1.0 or so 60ft to run that ET with that mph...lol. That means his 60ft as fast as outlaw 10.5 cars. Timing error for sure....lol.

If I remeber right, the truck actually ran in the low 11's when they could get an accurate time on it through all the smoke. By the way, even though it was running nitrous, it only used a single turbo. That's been at least 3 years ago.

Nope at a 10.40 should be about 126/128mph for a truck 130 to 132mph usually for a car.Of course hammer down all the way with no problems. That is usually there are exceptions to all rules. On my 13.17@101.7mph pass in the X it showed a 60' of 1.60 which was wrong but I don't know what it was but my radio flew out of the dash board & unpluged some of the wires! My truck smokes as bad as that one did but all the way thru,no nitrous of course(never had it).

It messes with the ET. Basically, the smoke blocks the beam like your tire blocks the beam when your staged. With the smoke there, the truck leaves the starting line, but the smoke interferes with the beam so the clock doesn't start the instant the truck moves. The longer the smoke takes to clear (wind direction, speed of wind and amount of smoke all make a difference) the more it will mess up the clock. I ran a 9.xx once at 113mph. MPH will still be accurate since it's measured at the far end of the track.

A 110 mph pass is usually like a 12.1 or 12.2 in these trucks i think.
