Give us some details about the billet head, please.

I wasnt thinking when i put that on there ive been around duramaxs since ive been into diesels. My dad has a full blown duramax. We've now put in the third motor. My head is built by Woodruff diesel and it is a complete head. Now if all your wanting to do is start trouble you can drive up to kentucky on the 22nd and we'll settle this on the track. You have tried to start trouble more than once. I took it off of there after the first time. Now it should be done with, unless your in for an overnite drive on the 22nd.

Are you serious? I was causing trouble? If you're talking about my remark about the 370 injector, it was a joke. I don't know if you're aware, but 12 valve guys run the marine 370 injector. Did you notice the laughing icon?

My advice, don't read too much into what someone has posted. There were two other people who wanted to see the billet head as well, not just me, probably for the same reason too. We're interested in diesel performance and if you had a billet 5.9 head we would like to know the details.

If you think by calling me out to sled pull my truck against your's is suppose to intimidate me, think again.

If you look at my sig. you'll notice my truck is set up for the 1/4. If you want to move the challenge over to the 1320 I'll be glad to send you a pm the next time I'm heading to Clay City or Bowling Green.

Have a good one.

Well then my apologies it just seemed to me that the second time you posted about the head was just to be a smart ***. But if this isnt true then it was wrong i called you out. Ive had a rough time with the truck. See everyone up here dont think it can be done with a vp truck. I have made progress though, Just a little at a time. Again my apologies.

No big deal. I understand the frustration deal with tuning a truck.

I know nothing of sled pulling, so I couldn't help you with technique part.

I did read about a deal with the redline box posted on CompD.

When you hold down the red button and any black button on the redline and then just turn the ignition on it goes into a diagnostic mode. DO NOT START THE THE TRUCK. Scroll until you find the APPS sensor voltage and break out some small zipties (they will come into play a little later). Take the black cover off of the APPS unit and push the throttle pedal all the way down, you should have 3.4-3.5V, wrap ziptie's around the wide open throttle stop/APPS housing until you achieve 3.0V at wide open throttle and and tell me if it pulls like a raped ape. Hope this helps.
