I never seem to see pictures of a truck with a utility bed on these boards. I'm gonna put on on mine, which will make it even uglier than it is. I'm still gonna take it out to the track and wear some folks out with it. Am I the only one? Is it possible I'll end up with the fastest utility bed truck?

 

there is a guy, goes by kta cummins if i remember right. has a yellow first gen with a utility bed. last i heard he was over 600rwhp.

 

his name is brian block and it's an 89 2wd getrag. it has twins, and a custom ve pump he had made. it made 627 hp i think.

 

I saw a video of that truck, I dont know where, but it was nuts

 

Brian is and his truck is insane. Great guy to chat with. The first time I saw him dyno about 4 years ago, he was beating on the thing with a hammer to make it start. It was cold out. David TD ran the dyno for the event. A few of us thought ya right this truck is going to waste our time. Man were we wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

KTA Knows his stuff about the VE pump. 300 Hp was the urban myth about top HP for the VE pumped 1st gens, well he blew that out of the water with a cannon, before most of the others were making 400...
