12 valve build

Here's what i going on. We are in the process of building a 2.6 pulling truck. here's what i have planned tell me what you all think. For the fuel side i have a 13mm schied pump set at 4500rpm, 5x20 injectors,.093 injection lines, air dog and raptor. the turbo is an custom s400 from scheid, a cam from pure diesel, I am having the bowl opened up on the pistions along with making them low compression. and alot of other drive line HD parts to hold the power. What kind of Hp and torque numbers do you all think i am looking at with this setup?

Mine is a Colubus P-pump and has 400cc fual rate, 300cc no air, and 600cc for stop plate, 5gsk, and 30* engine timing on the pump. But I has it sent back and put the pump at 18* engine timing as it was really hard to start. But you are going for way more power than I am. I have a list of all the things I done if you would like to see it.

1997-12v:

I have a 1996 Dodge CTD 12 valve which Scheid Diesel custom built for me.
My engine has some of the same stuff as yours going by your post above. However, I don't know how similar our cams are and I am running Scheid Twin Turbos on mine (62/12 over a B-2). You can look at my signature for H.P./TQ.
numbers, but I would say you should be at or above 700 H.P. On #2 I am a little over 800 H.P.

Hope this helps you some.

I would guess 600-650, but it really all depends on setup. When you get that much stuff, its just hard to tell, because one thing being off can really mess it up.

Remember, its not real hard to overfuel a 2.6 turbo with a 13mm pump and 5x.020 injectors.

If you need pistons, let me know. I have a set balanced, coated, flycut, 53cc bowls, with balanced rods matched to pistons. They have 6k easy miles on them and look brand new

I would diffinantly recomend a aftermarket intercooler. You have about the same set up as my best friend does except he doesn't have the piston work done or the 13mm. A spearco ic helped his truck a good bit. The truck ran a lot better after we added it.

IMO with the right turbo set up and engine mods the stock intercooler is good for up to 700hp. Then when EGT get out of hand then think of aftermarket intercooler.
