1/4 mile - how much faster with a lockup switch

I am just wondering how much faster does a lockup switch make the truck go? For instance my truck runs 13.6's without a lockup switch, and I am entertaining the idea of putting one on. Just trying to figure out if it will be worth it or not running the 37's or if I will just tear things up...

Thanks,

Paul

Should be the orange wire witht the black tracer on the middle plug on the ECM, Tap into that run it to a switch in the cab and ground the other side of the switch, Then you have to take the relay out of the box under the hood and make a jumper. I'll try to find the diagram. When I get the truck back next week I'm gonna ry to get some pics of it and post them up.

Yeah with 37's I'd say a gearing change would help a bit.

I lock it as soon as the truck shifts to 2nd if I flip it too soon will not let shift out of first, then I have to unlock it and lock it back. Soon I will be able to lock it up as soon as it moves.
