03 CR goes 1009 HP

Don, you never cease to amaze me with how much knowledge you think you have. FYI I have been to Tulare twice now, the first time was about 5 years ago when I still had the Powerstoke in it, and as bad luck would have it I blew a injector tip off. I did not drag race at all that trip. And the second time was last weekend where I participated in my very first ever 1/8 mile dirt drag, and it will be my last.

it was fun. two totally different trucks, 12v vs. cr, twins vs. nos, ford vs. dodge. Maybe on asfault things may have been different, who knows. I only had two partial days of tuning, so things weren't perfect. I blew the head gasket, but i still had a good time, met alot of new faces, drank a bunch of crown, and saw some tugs of war, and got to flag 600 HP trucks ft away. it was a good weekend, can't wait for the next show.

Yes but mine makes sense...the closer you get to 5252RPM and can hold the torque, the more HP you will make, PERIOD!
If they ever get a CR to be able to turn 5500RPM, you will see that that is the ultimate High-Perf platform...to be able to control the timing at EVERY RPM range, and every situation, you will destroy the 12v, daily driven power records.
Nitrous or #2 only, who cares...power is power. Both are major accomplishments. It takes just as much work to get an engine to hold together long enough to make those power levels whether you have twins or nitrous!

And I'm out on Propane...only Fords run it, since they can get enough #2 to make the big numbers. Talk about a band-aid!
