Talk to Ellerton, seems that his does a pretty good job in the over 1000hp area.

Going to pull the 6.0L? I would see what a stock transmission will take prior to buying a new transmission. You can only use it as a "core anyways", and I hate giving them a "core" but is a good working transmission. Heard that the stock diesel ford converter works pretty decent behind a cummins. Might stall abit higher but your running a 12v

Curious, what you doing to the 12v engine?

to the 12v. some stuff and stuff......

the 6.0L is on warrantee until next sept anyways. so I won't probably monkey with that until then. but I'll get the big diffs and 37s under it here right away/ anyhow. my rims should be shipping out next week sometime.

but I don't want this truck to be "down" on failure maintenance. or down at all for extended periods of time. I'm hoping to avoid that from now on. just 1 thing at a time. and back on the road. and I'd rather just slap a built tranny in when I swap the engine to be done with it.

I don't know if you saw this for camshafts for the cummins
http://www.coltcams.com/html/cummins...afts/index.cfm

I saw it the other day, and I want a 7.5LSD camshaft for my 12v. Did you send you head out west? You going with 12v rods or billet stuff?
