Truck almost fired tonight,,

SO close... battery just wasnt up to the task. Going to let it charge all night,, maybe the battery is pooched. I am also going to buy some ether to give it a little boost.

Just a very small amount of wiring to finish up with the data logger, and some cleaning and we will be ready to go,, any luck and I wont even have to work on it in the parking lot in mission... might even get it on the trailer under its own power

Pull the batteries out of the Ford. The Ford is 50/50 on starting anyway.

great to hear kev, just dont use your same ways with ether as you do nitrous start small then work up haha, a light spray around the air filter seemed to get garrets pulling truck fired at the blackout.

Just a puff Kevin.. A little goes a long way. Better to try a little and not fire than too much and do some damage. Can't wait to see how you make out with this truck now.

I am sure it is, but better safe then sorry, your grid heater is no longer in the truck? Correct?

Nice going Kevin!

I'm glad you got the engine mount/turbo pipe clearance problem solved.

What is the rail pressure doing while cranking? Watch that while cranking & then watch the oil pressure after it fires!

The grid heater was my concern also but I'm sure it's gone.

No grid heater. Gone 2 years ago now. No gauges either. Using a data logger.

No gauges yet or will not get installed?

Perhaps temporarily hook up a rail gauge & an oil pressure gauge until you get the truck fired up?
