time for an inframe.....anyone want to tackle it for me?

I have a 91 International with a DT-466E that is losing a small amount of coolant down into the pan, would anyone on here feel like doing the work for me? I will supply all parts and all tools i have in my shop will be at your disposal.

If not any reccomendations on a shop would also be appreciated

Also are there any reasons to use an aftermarket rebuild kit for the minimal price differences between factory and A.M. kits?

Thanks guys

go with the factory parts on that one. They are cheap enough, that doing the job twice to save a couple bucks isn't worth it.

Just did a 2004 466E last january. Stupid simple to rebuild, just follow the directions ( which in my case included the torque specs for the rods, mains, and head bolts, and just use the general torque guide in your head for the rest )

They say an inframe can be done in 40 hours. I took almost double that, but lost some time waiting for a couple extra parts, and I am EXTREMELY picky about cleanliness during major engine work.

The guys at diamond international in edmonton, particularly in parts, were very easy to deal with. Their shop does quite a number of 466 inframes, and they will quote you the flat 40 to do it.

Good luck with it

kinda forgot about this one on here for a while.....anyone want to guess what the total damage was on an inframe, heads were fine, rad got recored, factory International "the works' inframe kit and all work done at the local dealer?

Take a guess, closest earn bragging rights

P.S. it was higher that the bill to inframe the T800 in my sig haha
