But Mike this is different...No breaking stuff....Its more smoke and fire...burning down the truck...It was strange this weekend I went to pick and pull and seen two Ford trucks about 1995 models, burn't to nothing.Maybe there wiring is worse than ours...

No - the purpose of the relay is so that you get maximum voltage to the bulbs, which in turn gives you the best light.

Forget about the jumper....use Jeffs trick. I think it goes a little something like this - pull the fog light relay out of the PDC and carefully remove the cover from the relay. Slide a very small piece of cardboard cut from a business card between the open set of contacts. If the contacts cant make, then the fogs cant go off.

I understand now. I just took a looked at the relay. I'm a little thick in the wood.

Ok, its fixed now. I can't believe that it was that easy. wow. Less than 5mins. A fix. Ok, how do I get the low beam inner to fire at max voltage. I'm a dummy, five years like that, awe I feel like an idiot.

Again, a harness with relays will give you a full 12V at the bulbs. But it will disable your DRL (or at least it did on my truck).

That being said, there is a way to have the high and low beams on at the same time without spending $100+ on a bright box. I remember a post on that - I will try to find it for you.
