for you guys that want to buy a 2010 dodge 2500-3500 with cummins , they won't have urea injection on them as they meet the all stands, unlike chevy and ford .... so diesel power mag says

Rob, I think it will be a mid year addition for the 2010 truck. Everything is going with urea. Anybody know what temperature that urea is good for? I heard around -10c, but its just a rumor.

Yea around -11. Read Here

I sure hope that it wont be a mid year thing. Does not make sense for Dodge to do a Major Redesign of the truck for a Mid-year add-on. I think they would already have it on now. Also, I was recently in Mexico and Dodge will not offer a diesel engine in 2010, they will not design a 4th Gen with a 5.9L exclusively for Mexico like they have been doing for 2007-2009 trucks. Kinda Interesting

Maybe y'all already know how this works, but I found a good schematic while reading on the Amsoil site.
Good info 610!

The new 2500 and 3500 RAM's will NOT need the urea injection. The Cab and Chassies will get it this year and so on...... Idle time is expected on the C&C Trucks so instead of shutting down the trucks automatically after 5 minutes of idle time in California the urea will keep emissions in regulation.

You guys read the 2010 dodge write-up in four wheeling mag? They didn't like the diesel sound and the over dampen front suspension. The rear was too bouncey empty. Bunch of idiots anyways, do these guys even know a good truck if it drove over them. I like the fact that I can put my quad in the box and close the tailgate. My 08 you have to drive around with the gate open. My 02 is too tall to safely load the quad up and feels like I climbing a mountain. I want an 010 3500 crew truck, but I don't want to pay for it. My 08 lease is done in a few months, and I don't like owning anything these days. The 2010 1500 laramie list for $37k (has a 6k discount available), the 2500 laramie list for low $60's and the 3500 is high 60's and no discounts yet. Still no lease available up here in the north. I want a diesel but, the nice thing about a gaser is they are a decent cheap truck, and I don't have to care about it

I believed the 2010 but the Cummins C&C is already clean idle certified. But.....last year at the auto show a dodge guy said the C&C may get urea to help the guys that idle all day and cannot do a active Regeneration.

If the truck has urea, they can run more fuel (bigger HP numbers, remember power sells) and don't have to worry as much on the dpf/egr stuff to clean up emissions. If dodge wants to have the same power numbers as chevy/ford, they will have to go urea. Plus I bet the EPA will be pushing the urea. We really don't need the emission stuff up here in Canada, but follow in the US foot steps. The mexican dodge info is interesting. You sure that you can buy a 09 CTD 5.9L dodge in mexico?

I just built a 1500 lamarie 4X4 crew on the US dodge web site. It sticker for $41, after the incentives kicks in, low $37k. Of course the dealer will not have the bare bones lamarie truck, so it might be more money. My local dealer here has a few for 50k. I bet they will be keeping them. My 08 1500 slt hemi 4X4 gets 14-15mpg. Thats burtally awful, dodge told me that I would get 24mpg, when I bought it a big pile of doo but I paid $28k for it, just about two years ago.
