Maybe Barry you should read the posts..... and actually read them,, not just gloss over them. Never once have I mentioned the name of your shop, never once. Sure there are some people that know where I might have gotten it, but that happens... I can honestly tell you that the stuff you tell people about me is way way way worse than anything I can or have said about you or your company on here or to anyone in person!!! I dont talk to you because you tell people things to make yourself look better.... I am so sick of hearing how you built my truck from people and that I suposedly ripped you off. Both of these points are so far from the truth it isnt even funny. I have given NADP allmost 40000 dollars in the past 4 to 5 years. THAT is alot of money for anyone,, I know that Mike has spent more, but he has more.

I tried playing nice, sent you an email on facebook so that it wasnt public, but YOU want to bring it out in public, so be it. I have a clean nose so I am not worried.

Yes maybe I was uneducated about this flywheel, and for that I am sorry, but to be honest if I was educated I probably wouldnt have had it in there in the first place. It isnt what was described to me when I purchased it, this was one of my first big purchases for my truck, I bought the tranny, flexplate, silverbullet turbo, exhaust manifold, fass all in one shot, paid in cash, yes cash!

I dont think that I am the be all end all of diesel performance, but I get by. I have managed to get a common rail into the 10's with a single silverbullet, and only 200 hp of nitrous, im very proud of that. There are not alot of people that have cracked 800 hp on fuel only with a silverbullet.

There is that CLEAR enough for you? Remember I do know alot of people too, and I have nothing to lose in a war of image.

I think its enough that the name of the shop was never mentioned.

Whats more important is that the largest and most active chapter of any Diesel website gets to read this, so choose the words that you want to hear come back to you. I agree that facts are facts, but some of them are not to the benefit of the shop. Dealing with the problems and the public is how it will be measured.

I will not mention the shop that did the repairs for the Dmax transmissions as they don't need the bad press. But a fact is a fact. Saw the parts myself... FWIW.... I am not hiding anywhere, you know me.

I've had some time to mull this over and I just wanted to clarify for my part in this.

Every business makes mistakes, heaven knows I have, nothing special there. But its how you handle it after the fact. Coming here and taking a strip off of Morkable and then calling us all to the mat really serves no purpose. I would not tell stories without fact, especially here. In this case and the others I mentioned, it becomes the customers fault for not being educated. What help does that serve? Intimidation or arrogance is what keeps the return calls from ever reaching your office and, instead, are put to another vendor/shop. That is what I have observed over the years. Take it for what its worth. If I offend, my apologies.

My suspicions of the said shop have a basis. Unfortunately there are more of them out there.

If you look at the first pic it does look like they added an extra layer of steel there. Doesn't look very tough, but if it has been in the truck since you started building it, I'd say its proven itself, but should be probably retired by now.

Don't know how we missed this one....

FWIW, even though Morkable didn't directly mention the name of the shop, which I appreciate, y'all managed to pass enough tidbits around until someone spilled the beans as to who you were talking about. Coming here to talk about what happened on another forum, facebook, etc. like we're the backroom is a little cheap. Because of that, I understand how Barry could get upset, I would. With that said, I hope y'all will continue to discuss just the facts of the issue and let the negotiations toward resolving this issue stay between the parties directly involved. Thanks!

Lol, pretty much everybody on here knows who the shop in question is. Heck and if you didn't you could just figure it out by looking at his signature, haha.

Well I didn't, and I wouldn't have had the back door discussions not occurred, along with the two posts between the primaries involved. Per your advice though, I just looked at Morkable's sig and I admit, I can't figure it out from there either. It's kind of empty.

I hate to say this, but it looks like an aftermarket unit. I got one of those on my BD transmissions. Its not for high power rigs like your Kev, but back when you bought your tranny, that all we had for flex plates. Of course today, you can buy full one piece billet flex plate with no welds. The factory unit is more flismy that that unit.

I have a one piece billet flex plate on my ride. I know thats what I have in my truck, I know that as I put it there. I also know the torque setting on the bolts and I used red locite on the threads. It took me three trys to get my converter float/clearance right.

I'll take much of the blame for the outrage.. Sorry to all members involved here on it.
