Hats off to a good friend of ours here, Kevin Morken. Kevin set a new record at the August Blackout for the fastest single turbo CR truck at 10.97!!! I'm pretty sure that's the final numbers. Just want to put a shout out to Kevin for keeping it going. At one point I thought he was going to switch to his new Duramax and dump the Dodge, thank god he didn't!!!

I missed today. Dad was having a bad Sat evening and this morning, so I spent some time with him.

After playing phone tag however, I did get a message from Kevin - 10.8 sec. @ 128 mph (I'm pretty sure that's what he said in the message). Good job buddy!

Not sure if I should speak for Kevin, but he mentioned needing a new turbo. So, the end happening as you ask about.

Not bad......I can hardly imagine what could have been if the turbo held all the way.

Right on Kev, you deserve that run. A 10.8 is wicked, especially since thats what you said you wanted yesterday. Would going to a bigger single be worth anything for you? Could run GT4294 or K31 as a single, keep that record going. Very impressive! Congrats.

 

Thanks guys, the truck was running awesome. I am pretty confident that there is still a tenth or 2 left in there if the turbo wouldnt have let go. But I knew I needed twins anyways. So now I have to figure out what I am going to do for twins now.... see what comes up in the next month or so
