I have found a company that supposedly does all of NADP's heads, but they say that they only do the machining, not the oring or the gasket. Anyone know more than me abou this?

Find out the specs on OD of groove, ID of groove and depth they cut it at and talk to a good shop in the states, they could probably just ship you the rings and the gasket. How much are they charging for the machining?

As I understood, Aaron had the equipment to deck the head, but farmed out the actual cutting to a shop in Red Deer. I'm gonna do some calling tomorrow and see what I can find. Maybe, if I get the ambition . . .

The protrustion is less than 0.010in. I'm guessing around 0.005. I heard 0.035in for depth. PDR will sell you the orings, they are different diameters. They farm out the machining anyways. Call them, they will set you up. I'm with Luke that its a square cut but on a mill. If that correct make sure that the mill is perpandicular to the head. That way you get it as close to same depth on both side of the cylinder. Its very important detail. You putting in fire rings Kev? How much boost and power you think you're going to Kev? It would be cool to see you break 1000rwhp on #2 alone and add just a nice little heavy shot of nos to finish off the run right. You still running 2 stages? You going with the 625 ARP's?

How are you plumbing in the intercooler and to the intake. 100psi, thats lots of pressure. You getting the twins custom built? You putting in a cam and going to rev her up good? I don't know what rpm to finish the track off? How much of the chassis you changing? Sounds like fun stuff.

I have a banks IC right now. I was running around 70 80 before I broke the turbo. I am right around 4000 rpm right now. I need better gears, going to get a set of 3 42's and put them in. I have lowered my suspension and I am going to be putting on some form of drag bar (so the springs wont wind up)

It is fun stuff, but really fricken expensive. And I wish I had help sometimes as there are just certain jobs that are hard to do by yourself. But we are managing

Oh,, and I sure wish I knew how to weld better

Mike, thats backwards about aaron. He farmed out the decking and valve job. but cut the rings himself in rimbey.

Kev sounds like a wild ride brother.

Kev, I found a shop in Kelowna that will cut the grooves for $175, and a couple bucks more for the wire. Harry from Peak told me about them, so hopefully they are a legit and quality shop. The told me about the shipping company they use, called them, its gonna be somewhere between $70 and $90 (I forget which) to ship it out there, DHL was $120. Luckily I have 2 spare heads if they wreck one, but hopefully it won't come to that. Hopefully I'll hear from Paul in the next day or two to see if he knows anything about this shop since he is semi local to that area. Would work out to less than $400 to have it shipped out, ringed and shipped back. I might still call Rip tomorrow and see what he can tell me.

I believe you can buy them from Haisley.
http://www.haisleymachine.com/hi_per...nd_service.htm

I was going to get CT to do mine but didn't like the fact that the price doubled in between phone calls and then was also double of everybody else. I was going to ship it to Peak but my head has some cracks so I am just running it and looking for a good head to get O-Ringed. Harry also told me about the place he has been using has a machine set up to do it perfect every time all the cuts are exact no human error. But it was alittle more expensive.

How come you didn't get Garrett to cut the grooves? $75 difference IIRC. I thought about getting a head from him, but the shipping costs are the breaker. I priced out shipping my head to Rip, was looking at close to $700 one way. That was with DHL.
