So Joe bought the 625's? I guess that means the smarty might go to level 3 now?

Lol... hey hey, I was on level 3 of 5 with my Smarty & level 4 of 5 with my Edge at CCV's dyno in Red deer.

With these studs, I think I have made a choice in the crossroads I was at with my truck...

Thats what i was thinking 0 to 9, what do you mean 3 of 5. Are you planning on going to over 45lbs of boost? Just wonder why you went with the 625 studs. If you need to bum a tap for that Joe I got one, it cost $75 bucks. So you dont need to buy that tap.

That's actually not an easy question to answer for the CR Senior SO6 Smarty.

For the CR's they advertise 9 levels per s/w package. There are 3 s/w packages, Revo, TNT & TNT/R. (For my mild truck, I run the Revo).

But the 9 "levels" are really 5 "HP" levels. (30HP, 60, 90, 130, 170).
Each HP level has a timing or no timing option which are called different "levels".
This is really irrelevant now since one can customize each level.

So it's really 5 HP Levels that each can be customized per s/w package.
I hope that makes sense. Tons of options which is a huge benefit but can get confusing.

Hi Scott,

The 625's were a pretty good price & just too handy here in town!

Yes, I recall your offer for that tap before, thanks. I would definitely take you up on it if we were closer.

I can just mail it to you Joe, its about the size of a pen. Comes in a plastic box, abit bigger diameter thou. I tapped 2 engines with it, so its just getting dust on in the tool box. So whenever you need it just let me know, then I can get it out to you, later.

Well that's totally generous Scott. My plan is to the headstuds this spring, so I will take you up on that offer. I will cover all mailing/shipping charges plus a "rental fee" !

The tap must be 12" long or more right? You did your studs, 1 at a time, with the head in place right?

Thanks, Joe...
