last year----+18/+20C on sat/sun/beautiful sunny at north end of Gull Lake AB---- woke up to this on the Monday and 0C.Hopefully not again this year as i have my shed ripped apart and am going to be building a stronger,bigger cedar/stone base this long weekend.

I remember last years snow, I was at Joffre working, laughing since if I had not been working, I would've have been wanting to been out camping.
About 5 years ago, it was real nice down here. I took my sisters truck and quad out to Waiporous for the day. Hot and dry, I ate a lot of dust with all the 4x4 quads in front of me.

Grande Prairie area, snow all morning. Like, FAT snow. Less than 1 KM visibility for most of the day.... well..... Still.
I wont have to wash trucks though. The snow melting and taking dust with it is better than me trying to broom them off and grind the dirt in. Snow blowing works on the snow, not the dirt/dust.

Well.. rather than nailing customers at the beginning of the month and going easy on the customers at the end of the month, I just use a basic amount over whatever cost might be. Usually about 2k $CDN, and perhaps an admin (there are so many titles for that extra charge) fee (usually $150) if it needs it. Like if it was a unit I had to drive 600km's to get, then drive back in the new truck with the co-worker driving the first truck. That is a lot of fuel. Those expenses can change with the deal and is hard to -guess- at when just negotiating a price on stock neither has seen. The tank of gas uses up much of that fee, and perhaps there was many long distance calls and vehicle searches (Which I get charged for when looking in the system, per search request.)
I've sold many trucks to the Fort St John area. I only occasionally pull from the dealership there. You might be able to figure out our dealership now.

If you call, you will certainly know more than me about the trucks and I use that to my advantage. I always learn more from customers than from the books and other prepared media.
Oilfield getting busy up there? I've had 3 Medic service companies trying to get trucks in the past 2 weeks. Its all 'NOW NOW NOW' which can be hard to do unless it is on your own lot. They are the first ones to show that extra oilfield action is happening. They need to be on site before action can happen.

Jerith, Ab is Alberta, DTR is (as you guessed) Diesel truck resource and #5 is our chapter number.

Okay okay, the dealership in Spirit River. We are kinda smack dab between Inland at Dawson Creek, GP's dealers, and Campbell in Fairview. Been here longer than any of them. 3rd generation dealership that started in 1949.
As for deals, want a Challenger at cost?(An SE model. The difference between cost and MSRP is only $966.) Chrysler is being pretty nice with the diesels too. Free Cummins for the month of July. Meaning a $8040 discount but with no sub-vented financing. Or 0% 36 months with $4500 off.
I'm not pitching here folks, just kinda responding to the question. New topic! Weather! (again)

I haven't been living here long enough to know all the town, but I know that name. Well actually, there are many Lefleys in the area.
Scotty, that would be so cool! Except that 8K is on the dealer cost side. $9245 cost as a listed option. I'm sure a Cummins by itself is way more. Some of those disparities are insane. A -protection group- is $65 on a invoice. It is front hooks and the T-case skid plate. I once saw a guy putting on the hooks after delivery. Close to $400 installed. I mean c'mon! Its just one little box to check when you order! Some dealers... sheesh. I could see it on a factory order on a 1500 Sport I suppose.
