"Second" color on a two tone truck
Noticed a chunk taken out of my rear bumper, with a spot of rust. Was at the dealer yesterday getting my 2nd last free oil change, and figured I would pick up some touch up paint.
I have the deep water blue pearlcoat, with a dark gray second color. Figured the dark gray would be an easy color to find...but apparently I was wrong!
I looked through the colors they had on display, and did not see anything that was a match. Asked the parts guy, and he mentioned that one of the Jeeps has the same color, and last week they had a customer that was trying to get paint with no luck...they put in the paint code and only get the blue.
So, they called Chrysler, and after bouncing from person to person (none of which knew), they finally left a voicemail for someone, and a week later, they are yet to hear anything back.
I've tried looking online, and it looks as though it might be similar to mineral gray metallic clearcoat, but I think I checked that one, and it was different enough that I did not think it was correct.
Anyone have any ideas what the second color might be? They did not have a body shop, so I couldn't go ask them.
If I get a chance, I will try to get a picture and post it tomorrow.

If you go to ram trucks and build an outdoors model the only second color two tone color you get to choose is the mineral gray metallic. I would say that's probably the correct color.

Thanks, guys...guess the paint on the truck has actually faded or possibly oxidized a bit that it looked different. The build date was March 2011, so I guess that isn't too surprising over 15 months.
Small enough chip, the shade difference shouldn't be too noticeable.
