Laramie Longhorn reliability??
Finally in a position to get a new truck and I am looking at fully loaded models. Up until now I have only ever owned moderately equipped trucks regardless of brand. Here's my question: A Longhorn has just about EVERYTHING in it. Do any of you have issues with items like heated/cooled seats, heated steering wheel, adjustable pedals, sunroof, computer display etc.? I keep my trucks between 5-10 years and as much as I'd like a fully loaded rig, I don't want a bunch of silly issues. Thanks for answering!

I just bought my Lamarie Longhorn Mega-cab back in January and only have around 800 miles on it so far and everything is A Okay so far. I know its not a lot of mileage to give a true reliability report but its the best I can do. I did have a 2010 Laramie with just about every option that I traded in with 76,000 miles on it and I did not have one single issue with that truck other than the u-joints going bad at about 60,000 miles, which is a very common issue with these trucks. Loved the 2010 but I love my new 2014 even more.

My 2011 Laramie 3500 has all the available factory options offered, glad it does, no regrets.I do wish Ram would have offered the lighted tow mirrors like Ford and GM/Chevrolet did. My tow mirrors are heated, with turn signals and puddle lights , but no option for a lighted mirror when the running lights or headlights are on. At least Ram got on board with the newer Rams.

Even an 8 year old thread can be relevant...My 2003 Laramie had every option and creature comfort with no issues and a lot of enjoyment...My current 2009 ST with zero options, plain jane and ordinary as they get, is just as satisfying as its predecessor...Get the options you like, none of the options you don't want and just enjoy your Dodge...I have no regrets about either......Ben
