Keys locked inside.
2011 crew cab and the keys, (not a fob) are locked inside the truck, no rear sliding window, no sun roof, no drill and little tools and it's dark out. How to get in and still be able to drive 10+ hours on the hiway afterwards? I've heard stories of lifting the handle and using a fondu fork to lift the lock on some vehicles. I suggested driving a screwdriver into the passenger side lock and use a wrench to turn it, that was right after "where's the spare key"

Wow, that's rotten. I don't know of any tricks on Rams, and can't even picture the style or location of the lock button on the inside. Is it the traditional up/down style on the top of the trim panel that you may be able to snare with a piece of coat hanger wire? Sometimes you can very gently pry out the top of the window frame to give you some extra room to work.
Also, on a couple of vehicles, I've gotten a thin stiff rod of some sort and was able to insert it in through the gap between the body and window frame, and hit the power lock button on the door.
I'm sure you've already tried all this simple stuff though, hope you make out ok.

Thanks for the replies, never thought of using the antenna. I've been playing around with MY truck to see what would be the best way to get in without a key or fob. Mine has an alarm so pounding a screwdriver into the only lock wouldn't work. I also think the fondu fork idea a little "cheesy" there's nowhere for the fork to go. I do think it would be possible to slide a hard wire in the window frame right at the bottom of the frame and hook the button as there's 3 grooves that might give enough grip. I had decided that the only option is a hidden plain cut door key taped up somewhere.
1 new passenger side door lock $84 not installed and $30 to key it, or 1 spare $2 key taped somewhere, of course it'll never happen to me.

This one should work if the shoe laces on your work boots are long enough.

Not sure if the door hardware is different on the 4th gen trucks, but 3rd gen are easy to get into.
Pry open a little gap between the window and door right above the outside handle. Coat hanger with a little 90 deg hook on the end. FOrget which way to push/pull to catch the latch, but it's not too tough.

Yeh! no **** on top, but since this happened I've seen so many ways to open the door. I like the tennis ball and the cell phone the best. I haven't tried the cell phone but am planning to. If you could keep the code stored you could use it anytime. Oh and the high powered rare earth magnet, like that one too.

I would suggest AAA call, also they cut me a plastic key that I keep in my wallet works well, I had to use it twice in last year. No charge to member

I don't know if AAA is offered up your way,but their Plus coverage is a bargain. 100 mile towing ,lockout,no start etc. Anyone with a slide-in camper needs RV upgrade. Ask me how I found out? OUCH!
With your vin.# and bill of sale, any dealer can cut you a key,and as posted AAA members get a plastic wallet key for nothing.

With a new truck you do have road side assistance but we also have Good Sam, thing is my son is often out of cell coverage and sometimes over 100km from the nearest road, all he has is a lat and lon from the GPS, both of which are inside the cab. He now has spare keys...everywhere.

Seeing this thread again has reminded me to try those methods, the cell phone, the tennis ball and especially the rare earth magnet. I saw them all work on youtube but not on our trucks.
