Just curious what people are paying for their 2013 2500 Laramie and is there 850 torque in the 2500. Also what are people getting for mileage. Thanks.

Over on CF there's a few folks that have gotten them. 1st, let me say there is no increase in torque. The 2500 only has the 68RFE option, for auto, and with it, the power is 370hp/800tq.

As for mileage.. Empty, most are reporting 17 mpg mixed driving and driving up to 80mph... Oil is staying clean and this is on a tight motor. If the past says anything, MPG will over get better over time, once the motor loosens up.

Power is a funny thing... H&S put a brand new '13 2500 on a Mustang Dyno and numbers were really good compared to the '12.

What they're said was that the '13 produced 332hp/765tq. And others were saying a stock '12, in the past was putting down 295hp/649tq. That a pretty big difference, when Ram says only the hp went up by 20.

Maybe the 12 was needin' a regen. Seems like the power comes and goes on these trucks.

Personally, I think the '13s are putting out more power then what they're advertizing. Isn't it normal to lose 20% of your power between the crank and wheels? If so, the '12s number looks right. If not, I can't explain such a small lose in power on the '13s. I've heard that there's less parasitic loss on the 2013's but I can't believe they got it down to about 10%.

Yeah, that H&S dyno test is pretty amazing. Could be Ram is hedging their bets for when ford announces 450/900 .
