HID install problem- Left side low stopped working
So I dropped the kits on, high, low and fog my 2011 3500.
I was getting a little flicker so I got the 50w 6ohm resistors and dropped them on. The kits were supposed to be pre-set up with the canceler and anti flicker from HIDxtra.com Guess not....
Worked fine. couple flickers here and there though.
2 days later, my left side low beam is not working. Trouble shooted till I got to the factory harness. Reinstalled the OEM bulb. It's not working.
In the fuse box #1, there is absolutely no fuse indicated for the headlights. But that wouldn't be the problem anyway as the right side lows/highs as well as the left side high beam works.
On the left high I get 13.4 volts. The low beam is only getting 3.43 volts.
So what the heck is going on? I'm at a loss now.

I had to use an HID harness from DDM tuning to get mine to work. It is a really weird setup that I had to use. BUT
You want to wire in your HID harness to the batteries and then connect to both ballasts. That solved the flickering issue, but then I got the bulb out indicator so I hooked up the error eliminators I got from DDM Tuning as well. The one on the passenger side worked fine, but then I noticed some flickering on the drivers side and BOOM. The error eliminator blew up (whatever is inside of those really stinks). So I just disconnected the error eliminator plugged back in the HID harness as I had it all hooked up before and left only one error eliminator on the passenger side and everything works fine now.
So, in short. Get an HID harness, hook it to the batteries, hook it up as you would normally with the drivers side HID ballast. Hook up the passenger side with the error eliminator.

I found a bad ballast and pulled it out.
You have a link for the wiring kit? What I have found is the highs and lows will pulse slightly. The fogs are rock solid on. I thought the fogs were on the canbus system but it does not appear that way so far.
I have a email into HIDextra to get an RMA for the bad ballast.

ddmtuning.com is the website you will want to go to, to find the wiring harness. There were no instructions with the lights when I got them so it was just a plug and hope it works kind of thing.
The fogs are a cinch and require nothing extra.

tried DDM. they told me good luck. It's a Ram and they are having issues with all ram trucks. They didn't think the harness would be a fix. And since I already have the code eliminators, that was a non starter.
I tried 50w 6ohm resistors and they got so **** hot I thought they would catch fire.
So what's next?

Get the HID harness and error eliminator and wire it per the instructions in one of my posts. It works fine for me.
If you do go that route, send me a PM and I will give you my phone number so I can walk you through how I have it set up exactly.
