I like what I see on the new 13's Finally a back up camera for the bed!! Stronger/heavier frame, And MORE POWER.
I really hope Dodge got the gearing right on the new auto. Especialy a lower 1st gear.
Now how long till Ford and Chevy increase there Power??

Crap! Now you all got me wondering if I should wait! However I'm not happy about getting a. Truck with the DEF. [edit] Chev and Ford and their silly jealousy.
Anyone know if plain horse [edit] is a good substitute for DEF?

With all that, base truck is going to run $40,000, Big Horn $50,000, Laramie $60,000, and the Longhorn Laramie up to $80,000.
I think I'll keep going with my 06.

I'm sold on getting a new 2013 just because I can get a 3500 without a RFE68 and get a real industrial grade transmission. Its about time dodge/cummins put an urea in, I so sick of dumping in $1000 to $1500, just to remove the DPF. Urea, there will be way less requirements to regen to occur. I might just leave my 2013 stock

If my truck was stock, I might consider it. But I like it just the way it is. Well, short of needing some tires, but that shall be cured next week.
I seriously doubt that much of a price hike.

The trans in my 2010 is throwing codes, I'm not much of an RFE68 fan. I could fix it I'm sure, but its still a weak RFE68. I'm sure its going to be enough transmission behind the 6.4L hemi though but forget the 6.7L. way easier just to get rid of it while its still worth something.
Going to see how long I go before needing a new truck again. Hoping to get another six or so months out the old truck.

Havent had any dealings with it on the heavy duties, but if its anything like the 1500 gas job I had in PA, its junk. I could smash that button till I was blue in the face, get in some sticky crap on the ROW, and really need 4x4, even in 4x4 low, and that stupid traction control was there, pumping random brakes, all bound and determined to make me get stuck.
Ill do without it thank you.

No they didn't, they went the cheap way out. They should have done it with engine electronics. Hope they have a switch to turn that crap off.

Hmmmm....the 2013 1500s have a "rotary-dial" gear selector, like the 4wd switch in the 4th gens?? (to the right of the key in the pict) That would take some getting used to.

I would guess the first trucks with the aisin transmission will be drw and 4.1's geared, just for guys are going to used them for work trucks. Probably on available on sl and slt truck options, which works for me as thats what I want next.
But, knowing dodge you can probably custom order your truck any way you want at a premium price. I went down and had an estimate done on my 2010. I was told I would be lucky to get $35k for my truck so I probably going to keep my older trucks and just buy a new one just for work. Its sad that my 02 is almost worth the same money as the 10.

Was told by my local transmission guru that the aisin are very capable of handling the power of the 6.7L, even better than the G56, so no more gingerly shift and all the 3rd gear worries. aka Mr Blake
The G56 is around 500-600rwhp, seen a few fall apart over the years, mostly from 5.9's
