2012 rear leaf pack
Sitting here next to a 2008 2500 and the guy asked me why my 3500 only has three leafs and his 2500 has four. Good question I said. Anyone know what gives?

My 2011 3500 SRW 4X4 Auto has the same springs as my 2001 2500 SRW 4X4 Manual, exactly the same and I bought both new so they came from the factory that way. I think it's just a number game for Dodge with Ford and Chev. Either that or the pound got lighter due to inflation.

my 3500 single wheel crew shot bed has less rear leafs than my 2500 quad short bed. both are 4wd. I wanted the 3500 with the overloads...but apparantly the new 4th gen trucks don't get them unless its got 4 rear wheels....

The newer 3500's have 3 thicker main leafs as opposed to the 4 thinner (yest still pretty thick) leafs in the 2500 pack.
