I will be impatiently waiting to hear what you find out. I have spoke with several dealerships this week and none have heard of any kit available yet, also cummins western canada in edmonton has verified that dodge makes the ECM now. the engine leaves cummins without any programming and they do not offer a kit.

 

Just to let everyone know I haven't forgotten, I've been by the dealer 3 times now and the service manager hasn't been there. Today I spoke with one of the techs, he said they were installing a certain make into the 2011 but stopped because of rpm fluctuations.. He told me to come back with the vin# of the truck and he could tell me exactly what was installed. I suggested it might have been one of the techs that made it up as it appeared my son's 2011 truck was the first one they did, but he seemed pretty certain it was this one make. Going back with the vin#

I had forgotten as my son was trading his 2011 truck for a 2012 but is now going to wait for the 2013's. As I mentioned they are not installing them anymore because of rpm fluctuations. My son's doesn't do that but he also told me recently he is just using the Mini maxx for the high idle now since he deleted.
I'll make a note and get back, for sure this time.

 

I have looked at the threads linked on this one. I have a 2003 CTD with the NV5600. There seems to be a lot of uncertainty on if this will work on my truck. So if it will..where is the green and orange wire located???

 

There is no green/orange wire on 5.9s. You have to ground the ECM Pin #22, but like you said it's a toss up on 03's.

Do your cruise control buttons look like this?

 

No my buttons are the ones prior to those. Is there a wire in pin 22 or do i have to install one?

 

There is a pigtail you would have to buy.

I have yet to hear of anyone's 03 with the early CC buttons having fast idle work.

 

Any idea how much the pig tail is?
