2011 driving impressions after 3 weeks......

As a follow up to my previous post of the 4th gens getting a bad rap, I thought I would post my driving impressions so far. Here is what I think so far:
-ride quality is outstanding. I really liked my 2007, but the 2011 is by far superior. Part of it is the fact that it is a Mega Cab and 2 wheel drive.
-the seating is wonderful
-refinement is far superior to the 2007
-exhaust brake is a fantastic feature
-backup camera is more useful that I would have realized
-brakes are outstanding
-truck handles better than I thought it would
-economy on the EVIC reads around mid 15's on each tank
-have not had a single check engine light or regen issue at all
-the U-Connect feature on the sound system is wonderful
-the Alpine sound system is pretty decent and the reception on Sirius is way better than the 2007
-this thing cruised at highway speeds like a Cadillac
-have not pulled with it yet, but will be soon
Overall, I have no regrets about buying this truck. I really liked the 2007, and I was a die hard 5.9 guy, but this 2011 is a fantastic truck.

I really think you will like your new 3500. I was so apprehensive to trade in my 2007 and my dealer made me a sweet deal. I have never looked back. I would be fatigued after a day in my 07 but the 2011 is so refined that I can't tell I have been in it all day.

that is really good to know. I get worn out on my 07 too and with a 1100 mile drive after I pick up the new truck back to Albuquerque

5.9 vs 6.7 debate out of mind,

The 3rd gen vs 4th gen debate is well, no debate. The 4th gens are way more comfy and refined.
